Asia


Indian Peninsula — India is often called a subcontinent; the peninsula includes most of southern India.

Arabian Peninsula — Includes Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. It’s the world’s largest peninsula.

Indochina Peninsula — Includes Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and part of Malaysia.

Korean Peninsula — Includes North Korea and South Korea.

Malay Peninsula — Includes parts of Thailand and Malaysia.

Kamchatka Peninsula (Russia) — A volcanic region in eastern Russia.

Europe


Iberian Peninsula — Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and a small part of France.

Italian Peninsula (Apennine Peninsula) — Italy, San Marino, and Vatican City.

Balkan Peninsula — Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, and other countries of south-eastern Europe.

Scandinavian Peninsula — Norway and Sweden (and part of Finland).

Africa


Horn of Africa — Somalia, Ethiopia (partially), Djibouti, and Eritrea.

Sinai Peninsula — Part of Egypt; connects Africa and Asia.

North America


Florida Peninsula (USA) — The state of Florida extends into the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.

Baja California Peninsula (Mexico) — A long peninsula along Mexico’s west coast.

Alaskan Peninsula (USA) — Extends from mainland Alaska toward the Aleutian Islands.

South America


Guajira Peninsula — Northern Colombia and Venezuela.

Taitao Peninsula — Southern Chile.

Cape York Peninsula (Australia) — Northernmost part of Queensland, Australia.
